Axie Infinity sidechain Ronin Network has announced the addition of five new validator nodes, Nansen, Delphi Digital, Stable Node, Animoca Brands and Dialectic, to strengthen its blockchain security, which is expected to be completed this week. Ronin Network said the goal is to have at least 21 independent validators working together to secure the network within three months. Additionally, Ronin Network plans to improve the current source code to enhance security and decentralization. They are also exploring adding the ability to allocate withdrawal limits and enable more governance features in the cross-chain bridge.

Terra co-founder Do Kwon announced on Twitter that $230 million worth of BTC has been purchased today. The on-chain shows that Luna Foundation Guard has accumulated a total of 5,040 BTC today, and the address currently holds 35,767.98 BTC. BTC is down 5.1% over the last 24 hours and has fallen to an intraday low of $43,121. The largest cryptocurrency has been trading between the 200-day simple moving average (SMA) ($48,220) and $45,000 for the past few days. The bears finally made their move and pulled it down below the 20-day exponential moving average (EMA) ($44,507). The relative strength index (RSI) has dropped to the midpoint, indicating a loss of bullish momentum.
